I knew it was illegal to steal trees. But this article used a term I hadn't noticed before -- "first-degree theft." First-degree theft? Is there such thing as "second-degree theft"? How about "third-degree"? At what point are you allowed to say, "Oops, I accidentally stuck that in my pocket as I walked out the door"?
Port Orchard is nice. I can't believe someone would want to steal trees from there.
